Very good chair/stool. Good padding, firm back, greaves. I use this in the highest seating position at 33 3/4 inches, but when I sit on it it shrinks to 32 inches (I weigh 200 pounds). Still works great for me, but be warned if you need "proper height". I am blessed with girth and have found that the seat cushion gets warm after 30 minutes. Okay, it's my fault for not getting the tape measure first, so I'm not deducting a star for my own stupidity. I checked out the reviewers' photos and next to the counters and tables it seemed like the perfect height. I bought this for my desk. I have a fixed position table so there is no way to lower it and sit in a regular chair. As a stock trader, I spend a total of 12-15 hours a day at my desk. My height is 6ft 1in. So sometimes I just want to be comfortable and this Boss chair isn't very comfortable for very long. If the backrest reclined that would be a huge bonus. It was less than about 11 months and the rear bracket broke. After repeated attempts to claim a 5 year manufacturer's warranty, they finally sent me a mount to replace this defect. Well, after 2 months, after the holidays, I finally made an attempt to replace the bracket. The previous bracket was welded to the shaft and could not be removed. I spoke to Don at customer service for about 20 minutes about how to remove the previous braces and he tried to help. Impossible that this will be solved…
