Works great in freshwater and saltwater aquariums. I have been using the product for many years. It's a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Controls the phosphate content and removes color or tannins from the water. By lowering my phosphate levels and changing the water frequently, I was able to control algae growth.

I read review after review about it. I was very disappointed. First, they are dirty! I washed and washed and washed. Still couldn't delete it. I have been using Seachem Purigen and decided to try something different. It turned my water brown for days and barely absorbed what Purigen does. I returned them and just bought another Purigen.

I buy these. I have several aquariums. I have several fish. My nitrites are perfect. My nitrates - forget it. I overfeed and eat big old fish. What should I do? Throw away the fish because they have grown and gotten old? nope Do you stop feeding them? nope I do water changes constantly. Nitrate has not changed. So my nitrates are high. And I spend a lot of money on Boyd Enterprises chemical-only products to relieve guilt.
