NOT THE BROWN I KNEW!

I liked that it was brown but this product isn't what it used to be. Not so durable, no speed control, both speeds are almost the same. Requires too much pressure to maintain performance. I have arthritis in my hands and cannot use this product.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Annoying

Magic Kitchen Tool - Love It in Stainless Steel & Black

I love this blender - it makes soup easy. I had an earlier version of the Braun hand blender that was white plastic and this is definitely an upgrade in terms of how well the stainless steel part washes and how powerful it is. I also have a Vitamix, but I find a blender indispensable!

Pros
  • Confidence
Cons
  • No Mold Required

Cancer and reproductive harm

When I received the package, I saw the message 'Cancer and reproductive harm' on the box. So I immediately returned it unused. I opened the package and saw grease under the blade of a small food processor, proving the product was harmful. I can't comment on how it works as I've never used it.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Good design but construction uses flimsy plastic

I liked it at first. Braun has always been a solid brand for us, but the curling and whipping barrels broke within 2 years. The engine case is strong and powerful, but the plastic used for attachments is rubbish. We've never washed dishes or overused nozzles. The bending head broke within a year, the hanger head broke up after a few months. In total it was used less than 15 times and otherwise lived in a drawer.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Good product! Best in Small Appliances

All I wanted was a hand blender by itself. I already have a small food processor and a Nutribullet, so I didn't need a blender with all those fancy gadgets and attachments. I just needed something that mixes warm food so I can make soup! (Because it made absolutely no sense to me to pour hot, hot, hot liquid into my little food processor or Nutribullet.) It was the only hand blender brand that was well priced, got decent reviews, and didn't come with a lot of extra features, that I didn't want.

Best hand blender under $200

This is *better* than the next best (budget) hand blender (Breville) and is just over half the price of a Breville. I owned both. My first Braun lasted 10 years, my first Breville lasted 5 years, the "others" I had blew up in less than a year. I appreciate the blender itself, the decanter, as do all the decanters that come with hand blenders. sucks. You can throw it away now. Instead of a carafe, I use a 50-ounce stainless steel milk frother. It works, doesn't make a mess, and cleans well in…

  • Great for a small home

Buy, use, don't abuse.

This device has a powerful motor and serves its purpose. I like that the blender wand and blades are made of stainless steel. The only problem I have is the gearbox that connects the racquet to the motor. The instructions say not to submerge in water, which I missed. It retained water, rusted inside and is now releasing rusty water into what I churning out. It's my fault for not reading the entire manual, but I wish they had made the whisk a single, cleanable unit, like the attachment for a…

MQ505 - Good but not great

I have had this blender for a long time and use it regularly for various purposes. Need whipped egg whites? No problem. Homemade whipped cream? No problem! Need to mix the sauce well? Well it stays on next to my stove if that tells you anything. However, there are two things that consistently bother me about this hand blender. First, it's something that feels light, but really gets to you after a while: this stuff is gooey! The handle has a special coating that makes it easier to grip…
