I think I just fell in love

I installed them on my 2011 Audi A5 Quatro and immediately noticed the difference in sound when I hit the gas pedal to pass my grandma on the road. I installed them without changing the spark plugs because one of my old coil packs had failed, but the difference was still noticeable. I think I'll be using it in my Audi for a while.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • Nothing here

Cheap ignition coils only lasted 10 months

Purchased in March 2020 3 and 1 cylinders already bad time to replace them Had to buy a $90 package from local dealership with lifetime warranty Will contact seller for refund Recommend I don't, only to buy at the dealership. My car is used as a daily driver, only 7,000 miles since it was installed and it's already bad

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Little things

Is professional racing just a trademark?

Aside from the color, I'm not sure if they differ from the original product. Maybe professional racing is a brand? First set arrived with 1 of 4 not working, probably should have taken that as a hint but quickly replaced and all 4 in the set worked. More testing is needed to determine if the product fires faster, or if the current is higher than the OEM, or if Professional Racing is just a name for the price.

Pros
  • Ease of use
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Perfect fit for Jetta GLI 2006

These "Red Top" coils were SUPER easy to swap out on my 2006 Jetta GLI. With a short YouTube video review I was able to change them and the spark plugs in 10 minutes. I can't guarantee performance improvement, but they can certainly help if you're misfiring. They also look very cool. I highly recommend, especially for the price, replacing your old coils with these, especially if you still have the originals.

2thumbs up for parts

It's the first day but so far so good. The machine played crazy games with me, I think because of the power chip I was using it let me burn the original coil packs but not all at once. One day I went out of one and the next the other out of different cylinders. So I decided to get everything new and while it was worth the time and money I will be releasing another one later in the future. Also, this is the only review I've ever written, but I take the car I drive every day seriously. great buyโ€ฆ

Instant gratification, no tools required.

Just replaced the coils in my mk6 GTI. Managed to get 100,000 miles from the originals but one eventually gave up when the boost kicked in. I'm not sure I can expect 100,000 of them, but we'll see. It doesn't "need" any tools, but a flathead screwdriver will help with clipping and removing old coils. SERIOUSLY slide in those new coils and plug the connectors back in and that's it. For about a month I thought my gearbox (dsg) was going haywire, but it seems to have just been a quick misfire onโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Tough finish
Cons
  • Big and bulky

They fall apart when you take them off (2010 A4)

Coils fit but die out pretty quickly You will notice (or at least in my experience) because the gas flow is good at first then it starts to suck quite a bit quickly. (Next I bought an OEM and never had this problem). Coils that fail quickly aren't the worst, the problem is that the coils fall right apart when you try to remove them. I've had my Audi for a while and have NEVER had OEM coils that literally fell apart. I changed another part and had to remove the coils and completely separate theโ€ฆ
