my husband had a reverse shoulder prosthesis. The sling provided by the hospital is large and bulky with a cushion. This provides great support. However, this becomes too much in the house. THIS sling is much more comfortable to use while still providing some support. Love it!

This sling was much more comfortable than the one provided by the hospital. It suits me, but I'm an average height woman. This would be too small for most western men. It's also WAY COOL - the other one was so HOT!

The doctor took a picture of my arm in this bandage and preferred it to the one that came with it. The included shoulder strap was hot and itching. I had to wear it for 6 weeks (granted). Unthinkable without itching and sweating and heat, heat, heat. It is a pleasure to wear this sling comfortably.

I'm 6'3 and have a 38 inch sleeve. When my elbow is pressed firmly against the back of the sling, my wrist is fully open. Also, the strap is too short to wear over the shoulder. I have no idea how a thumb loop is supposed to work. If your sleeve length is 33 inches or less, this may work for you, but avoid otherwise.

Didn't fit. My elbow almost didn't fit in the elbow slot and was too short from elbow to hand. My entire wrist, hand and fingers were not supported at all. It was very uncomfortable, maybe it's because I'm a very tall person, but maybe it would work for someone who is very skinny, but not for me.

This is perfect for dressing my mom so she can shower without anyone having to support her arm and shoulder when she takes a bath. The mesh is comfortable (although she wished it had an extra closure handy) but other than that little thing she thinks it's great. This is really necessary for a person with a broken arm/shoulder.

A thin strap that goes around the impact and attaches to the sling by two metal rings. This is done so that the hand does not slide forward in the sling. The strap is thin and uncomfortable between thumb and forefinger. The documentation attached shows a "roller" used between the sling and the waist, but is not included. I would not recommend this product to anyone

I bought this after damaging my rotator cuff so I could sit in the pool and people found out I was injured. I'm a 5'2 female and it wasn't as adjustable as I would have liked, but it did the job. If you are a normal height person this will probably fit you. Recommended for water sports (even just sitting in a chair) or in hot places (like here in Houston, Texas).

The male model used to present this belt must not be taller than 1.50 m. The shoulder strap NEVER goes behind the back, over the shoulder, down and back through metal rings with as much overlap as shown in the picture. I'm 5ft 9" and have to use the thumb loop as an extension of the shoulder strap for the sling to fit - barely. And I'm sure it won't stand up to a lot of uses as the thumb loop is just over 1/4 inch wide. I just wanted this sling to be used in the shower for a few minutes each…
