Easily holds a large pot of water for making candy.

This burner exceeded all my expectations. Burners turn red when hot. Heats up quickly. Boil water or roast meat in no time. Extremely light weight. Easily holds a large pot of water for making candy corn.

  • Done

GFCI pops up after two uses.

We bought this to use as a backup if the power goes out. We used it twice, the rest of the time it stayed in the box. The third time we used it, a burner started clicking on the GFCI breaker. Now this burner does not work at all. It's a good sized device but obviously lacking in quality. I think I got what I paid for.

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

I am very disappointed with this product. Even a smaller burner gets very hot except when cooking. At the lowest level, it glows RED. Even with a heat diffuser, it can't simmer. It is ON/OFF, there is no possibility of cooking at all. Big burner even hotter. I assumed setting #1 would be colder than setting #7, but both are equally hot. Useless product.

Pros
  • Quick replacement
Cons
  • Good overall but...

Brentwood Electric Twin Burner

My stove is dead. I went from one burner to none. The oven is fine, but I didn't have anything to cook in the pans. This will fit perfectly until I buy a new oven (which may be a while). Now I have 2 burners to work with. Of course, the distance between the two burners is small, but it works. We use it every day, it's holding up well. The only thing I would change is that there is no way to clean the burner plates if you spill something, so you have to be careful not to overcook. (In any case…

DOES THE WORK good for kitchen and dining room

We use the cooker regularly at work. The Brentwood TS368 was the most expensive and also the best we have ever used. Great heat. grilled meat worked well on both burners at the same time. pretty much the perfect device. However, to our great dismay, the black-numbered settings on the knobs faded on our third use. It must have been hot fat. Now we have to guess what these settings are. Nothing really special but it's amazing they used such cheap pen paint. I hope this is the only problem we will

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Unsuitable for kitchen and dining room

Heats up on one side. On the other hand, there is a serious problem with the internal temperature sensor. Example: I turn the knob to "1". My pan is starting to get hot. All is well. But then the burner suddenly decides that it has reached the set heating level and shuts off all power. My pan is starting to get cold. And the burner just won't turn back on until it drops well below the temperature it should be. In fact, food can go unheated for MINUTES. So in order for it to heat up again (so…

DO NOT BUY! best in kitchen and dining room

When I first received this poor product I attempted to run both burners on MAX for four minutes as instructed to "break in" the burner coils. BAM, the power to the entire building is out! The power was turned back on and I made a mushroom and cheddar omelette on a small stove on the lowest setting. So I found it too much to work on the MAX at the same time. Well, this COULD be a coincidence or the result of someone else contacting me, but I don't think so. Continue reading. Come find out I…
