Nothing short of amazing

I've wanted a juicer for a long time but everyone kept saying it's a monster to clean and so much work to do. After reading countless reviews I finally settled on Breville's Cold Fountain and it was well worth the money. So easy to use and clean in one go. Definitely nothing like what I've heard about juicers. The trick is to clean the juicer after juicing and use the included brush on the strainer!

Pros
  • Very good value for money

  • For old

JUICE ONLY 1/2 YOUR FRUITS/VEGETABLES

Hello! If you're like me, you bought this juicer because you want to be healthy and you love juice! In my case I wanted to juice celery which turned out to be SUPER healthy and I love it! Trouble is, it's a juicer. Does NOT juice well. The pulp comes out soggy. I can't stress enough! I resorted to buying a bag of nuts and juicing myself. I juiced two sticks of celery with a juicer and it came out 10 ounces. Then I overstep the pulp and get 30 ounces. 30 OZ. Is not that crazy?! I will continue…

Beware! Very moist pulp! Not effective!

If speed is more important to you than quality and quantity, this juicer is for you. I've been using the juicer for about 3 weeks. I don't like wet pulp. I've done everything recommended to resolve the wet pulp issue and I'm still having the same issue. It's not the juice of kale or spinach leaves. I was very disappointed with that. If you want to juice cabbage, use the whole stalk. I'm still very low on cabbage juice. Spinach would do nothing in this juicer. Apples and other fruits are perfect

Brand new, unboxed and never worked

Ordered May 2nd, received May 4th, new out of the box. There was a scratch on the top cover but I bought it new which surprised me. I figured I'd miss it as I really wanted to start drinking juice. I washed the washable parts of the juicer, dried and collected everything, cranked it up to full power with great impatience. Didn't add any fruit or veg just wanted to see how it worked. It caught fire but burned for 5-10 seconds then went out and the overload protection light came on. After that it

it seemed like I had spent the whole day doing this.

Time vs Performance "MEH" Breville replaced the 1988 Waring juicer. I have an Omega 8006 juicer. I'm doing a 60 day juice reset. With the chewer, it felt like I'd spent the entire day in front of the juicer. I tried it to save time which it does. On the second day, the plastic slide broke during operation. Support sent me the item. without costs. that came a week later My beef; Waste when preparing juice from vegetables, apples and carrots. Wet pieces remain in the pulp container. This puts a…

Love it. Use it every few days.

I like it a lot. I'm constantly experimenting with new combinations. So far, the winning recipe is 50% carrots, 25% apples, and 25% oranges. Here are two hacks: Some consumers have commented on the froth you get when making orange juice. I always peel oranges before juicing the juice. Simply use a knife to peel/cut off most of the orange and white skin around the fruit and you will end up with a juice that is smoother and less bitter. You know that oranges are waxed, sprayed, and otherwise…

Amazing juice quality! Wonderful juicing experience!

This is my third Breville juicer. I wasn't 100% happy with the Elite (a bit dirty and clunky) and even the Duo (which violently tossed huge chunks of food in the bin), but I trusted I had the best option available. From time to time I considered switching from a centrifugal juicer to a masticatory juicer, but I knew all the cleaning and tedious grinding wouldn't be for me. I kept pushing for a new Breville. I kept coming across this cold juice but the much lower price whispered "poor quality"…

This juicer is wasting your time, money and fruit/vegetables!

This juicer was a complete flop. While it was quick and easy to use. The pulp waste was too wet. I wanted to make sure it wasn't user error, so I tried different sizes and shapes for the fruit and veg I loaded into the chute. On the first few runs, I noticed that putting in smaller pieces would inevitably result in them ending up in the bin partially chewed almost immediately. Then I start to let her out further and further, so that the direct pressure of the piston acts on her, almost pinning…
