We've only had this toaster for a week. So the long-term quality will show. So far this is a great toaster. I don't understand the bad reviews on this product unless there are quality issues at the factory. There are no sharp edges, everything is fried relatively evenly. While we insist on the 'Lift and See' feature, this one doesn't lift the bread as high as our old one. Even lifting to the max, pulling out English muffins or smaller loaves of bread with your fingers is impossible. Too hot.
