Increases pH in marine and reef aquaria. While not intended to act as a permanent solution to such issues, pH+ may be used as needed until the cause of depressed pH is remedied. May be used to help increase pH in aquaria that have adequate alkalinity yet have chronically-depressed pH levels. Composed of purified water and ultra-high purity materials; formulated by a marine scientist.

Bottle severely defective/

Not sure if this works as advertised. I couldn't open the bottle. This is proof for both children and adults. I'm 6ft 2in and 230lbs and I couldn't open it. You need to push the cap down and turn it counterclockwise. I wish you success. They officially protected everyone from using this bottle. Product.

It is impossible to open the bottle cap without damaging the cap and the bottle.

Bottle cap cannot be opened. Push down and twist as hard as you can and it won't open. I had to get my channel locking pliers and squeeze so hard that I was pushing down the top of the bottle and still trying to open it. Poured the contents into an empty bottle to save some. I had the exact same problem with their Akalyn bottle.

Good product but better balance

I like and trust Brightwell products. I have a 29G Biocube reef tank. Due to the small size and lack of refugium, the pH fluctuates especially at night. I have a controller and dispenser to counteract the pH drop at night and use pH+ to raise the pH. However, I have noticed an increase in alkalinity after using this product. Alkalinity increased from dKH 10 to 11.8. So now I use Balance instead of pH+ as it doesn't increase alkalinity.
