Description of 🐠 Brightwell Aquatics Phosphat-E - Efficient Phosphate Remover for Marine Fish and Reef Tank

Eliminates reactive phosphate immediately upon addition to aquarium. Safe for all inhabitants of reef and marine fish-only aquaria; May be used on an ongoing basis to help control phosphate in heavily-stocked aquaria. Each ml eliminates 1 ppm phosphate in 4 US-gallons of water. Helps facilitate phosphate removal during periods when dissolved organic material is abundant. Formulated by a marine scientist; Made in the USA.

Super efficient! best aquarium water treatment

Wow what can I say other than it's a lifesaver if you have high phosphate levels. Mine were at an amazing 25 in the Nuvo 10, so yeah, it got a little out of hand. Started using them and after about a week they hit the minimum of 0.03 and I don't have to dose it every day. Basically I check once or twice a week now and if they seem high I calculate the appropriate amount, check the next day and fix it.

Real results in 24 hours or less

too much phosphate in my nano reef tank. The numbers continued to rise daily (but were also subject to fluctuations). Less than a day after adding the recommended amount of PhosphateE to my aquarium, the phosphate levels are close to zero. I was so shocked that I took a second test. Yes. Almost undetectable phosphates. I have tried various biologics and have not been able to stabilize the phosphates. This stuff just blew him away. And my corals and fish are fine. The only disadvantage? The…

Follow Instructions

DO NOT OVERDOSE! If you follow the directions, keep an eye on the water displacement, and don't overdo the dosage, it's amazing. My PO4 was over 1ppm, since my kit only reads 1, 2 or 10 it was difficult to get an exact number. Therefore, I dosed a maximum of 2.5 ml per 20 gallons for my aquarium. The next day it measures at 0.77 ppm, I dosed the maximum value for my aquarium again and as described in the bottle it fell exactly 0.25, I know that because I have a Hanna ULP tester, the new one was

тестовый набор (например, мой набор для Красного моря) измеряет фосфаты в миллиграммах на литр (мг/л ) - no worries. The numbers are the same no matter what units you use. 1 ppm also equals 1 mg/L - so it doesn't matter what units your test kit uses. My only "complaint" is if you have low phosphate levels (mine was 0.7) and you have a small aquarium (one of mine is 14 gallons) and you follow the recommendation to start low, the dosage is less than 1 ml. It is terribly difficult to accurately…

Pros
  • Высокие баллы за поддержку и долговечность от тестеров
Cons
  • Не такой густой, как другие варианты

Dosing instructions are confusing

Might be a great thing, can't tell yet but I have a real problem with dosing instructions. First, I understand that the dose is based on the amount of phosphate reduction desired in a given volume of water. I understand. But you have to do the math to figure out the right dose. "Each mL eliminates 1 ppm of phosphate in 4 gallons of water." Okay, I have 40 gallons of clean water in my aquarium and I want to reduce my phosphate by 0.2 parts per million. What is my dose? I have to do some math to…
