I use a wheelchair and added these to spice up mine and because my students loved my newest ones. They have tubing over the wire to protect them and come with everything needed for installation. I don't have good manual dexterity but I was able to put them on in about 20 minutes! My only issue is that a battery pack will hold some water, but after leaving it open and dry it's working great again!

I bought 2 of these sets for my kids bikes. I recommend installing them around the frame, not in the wheel. My son has already broken 1 because the battery wasn't in the right place on the spokes and got tangled up in the wheel mount. (It has 24 inch wheels) We found a place for it in the spokes where it's not in the way but very close. As a reviewer, I've spent hours studying bike lights. I chose them and I'm thrilled. Installation can be tricky so I suggest the following steps to keep you sane: 1 - Throw away the instructions. 2 - Purchase a pack of 4 inch zip ties. 3 - Fixing the box on the inside of the spokes. 4 - Wrap the lanterns around the bottom of the spokes and secure every other spoke with a zip tie. 5 - cut off the excess. So far my kids love their lights. I suppose my only question is how long will they last on my kids bikes before breaking - they're rough on their toys. I bought a multicolored set (two skeins) and put one skein on the rear wheel of each of my daughter's bikes.
