Pros: * Really cleans things that sponges etc can't Don't need to buy often * Inexpensive! Cons: * They definitely rust easily, so be careful when letting them dry. *Each pad doesn't last very long so you could potentially go through them quickly. I only recommend using them on heavy duty work where these types are needed * Can be a bit difficult to hold on to due to the rough texture and the size and shape of the pad itself.

I grill a lot, about 5 times a week. One thing I love to grill is chicken skewers, but I don't like using vinters. So I bought some stainless steel grill pans at my local hardware store. The problem is that things char and stick to these pans and are really difficult to clean. These Brillo pads made this task easy. I soak the pans in hot soapy water for about 10 minutes, then use a pad for about 5 minutes and they look shiny and new again. The only downside is that the pods seem to fall apart…

I used these pads to clean and polish my car's exhaust pipe and they did the job perfectly. Just look at the photos of the results. I just used baking soda and vinegar. Mix these two ingredients in a bowl. Put on protective gloves (safety first), take a sponge soaked with the paste and proceed. Washed very well for 3-5 minutes.
