I used these pads to clean and polish my car's exhaust pipe and they did the job perfectly. Just look at the photos of the results. I just used baking soda and vinegar. Mix these two ingredients in a bowl. Put on protective gloves (safety first), take a sponge soaked with the paste and proceed. Washed very well for 3-5 minutes. Then I just wiped off the excess paste with a microfiber cloth and my tips were like new again. These pads have an abrasive feel that worked great for buffing the ends to a brilliant shine. I am happy with my purchase. These work great!
