💧 Brita 26 Ounce Plastic Water Filter Bottle in Sea Glass: Ensuring Clean and Refreshing Hydration Review

I was looking for a water bottle that would help me drink more water, reduce waste, save money (by not having to buy bottled water) and be it would be filtered. I had another Brita water bottle but it was wider and awkward to carry around. I saw it on Instagram and decided to try it. I love it. The flip-top lid is cool and protects the straw from germs. And it's thin enough to fit in a car cup holder, as well as in backpacks, bags, bags, etc.

I was under the impression it worked like our Brita pitcher as I didn't see anything else. It doesn't filter the water before you can use it, instead it filters the water just before it gets into your mouth. I was hoping to use this for travel and to filter the water for each person in the group, but the only way to get filtered water is to soak up water thrown through a straw. The bottle, cap and handle are excellent. I just love turquoise. Hope I enjoy using it.

I was very happy with this product at first. You have to suck pretty hard to get water through the straw, but that's to be expected. I am very disappointed that after less than a month of use and regular cleaning, the spout is showing mold stains. I used a straw cleaner with dish soap and couldn't remove them. I bought it to improve the quality of the water I drink, but every time I open the cap I'm greeted by an awkward sight that makes me wonder if the bottle is really polluting the water…

Terrible. What's the use of using/buying a filter if there is mold at the bottom of the spout (the point after water filtration)?!? I have used different sized brushes, soaked them overnight and tried to clean them with a silicone tip but NOTHING got to it. Why would they design a groove in a spout that can't be reached?!? I really like this filter bottle, much more than the regular Brita filter water bottle. I love the touch open lid and didn't expect to like it as it's a step between me and my water. The water tastes good and is easy to catch through a straw. I flushed the filter well and didn't have any of the problems that others have had with loose carbon particles.
