Incorrect Best-in Electrical Label

This is not a replacement for the advertised 696N and 695 cases. The plate at right is a new part. The tabs are in the wrong place, the panel is too big and the plug cutout is also in the wrong place for a 110 socket. I removed the fan motor and just installed it on the old panel on the left. A 5 minute planned installation turned into 20-25 minutes to remove screws and swap out fans and motors. No return required but more work than advertised for replacement.

Perfect fit, easy to change, works well

Perfect replacement. I have an 8" x 7.25" Panamex PA50V exhaust fan in my bathroom. After 13 years he finally died. I ordered the same Panamex model for another bathroom, thinking it would be a direct replacement, but the dimensions changed and I had to go to the attic, rip out the old model and fit the new one. Unpleasant work at heights in summer. When my second bathroom fan died, I wanted to avoid all of that. I found this NuTone model and it's a direct replacement. Even the cutout for the…

Easy Replacement for Original

If you are one of the thousands of homeowners who installed Broan (NuTone) bathroom fans when your home was built, this provides an easy replacement should your fan fail. I had no holes to drill or modifications to make, just unscrew a sheet metal screw - and the pre-drilled hole in the new engine block matched the existing hole perfectly. The reason I only gave it four stars is because this unit sounds even louder than the original. Some people may prefer loud noises to mask other noises from…

Works great, noise level is a bit higher but I have a comment on that

This unit replaces our old 20 year old C350C2 B fan unit fairly well. The tabs were a little thinner than the original but this one probably could more fan models to be replaced. Here is my theory about the noise level. Yes it is a little louder than the old block I would say but based on the amount of heap accumulated over the decades I would say the old one was isolated by this heap. We cleaned the fan outside and the grilles in between, but never went outside of that area to clean it, so…

696N B Fan-xiety is the best of electric motors

"This is only for 696N A", "The cable is 2mm thicker", "I have a 1.5" rack and it came at 1.75', so I had to chew off the excess to make it work', 'that's the wrong color of silver'. It was installed here in 1985. I have a 696NB and you would think so. I was looking for a prom dress for Bigfoot because it seemed like that thing didn't exist. Eventually I decided to stop reading the reviews, trust the measurements and hope the picture was correct this time and the '696N B' on the sticker is…

Fits perfectly just a bit noisy

My old (circa 1994) bathroom fans broke and I had to replace them. I tried the upgrade at a hardware store but they were too big. I found them at Revain and they fit perfectly. Just a few things: 1: Don't lose the small screw that holds the fan in place. There is none (see picture). 2: It also doesn't come with a grill. I bought new grills at the same hardware store and literally paid double for them. If you want to replace them, buy them here: Broan C350GN Grille for NuTone 695 and 696N Fans…

I bought it to replace my 20 year old fan.

I bought this to replace my 20 year old Mercury NuTone bthrm fan - "C350C2-B-Block". I measured as many reviewers suggested to make sure this new block would fit. and my measurements were ok with leeway - so I thought. The new Nutone fan has arrived, my son and I go to take a picture of the old one, unplug the unit and the new NuTone fan had to maneuver a bit here and there to fit it in the slot, we had to use pliers get creative to bend it slightly to get the frame into the slot. Finally…
