Durable and does what it's supposed to!

I got this to replace the 20 oz. I have had the Bubba Cup for over 5 years now. The old one broke part of the lid; not completely broken, but not for long. I use a cup 5 days a week on the way to work. Keeps my coffee hot until I'm done, usually around 2 hours. Glad I was able to get another one!

Leaking, sweating and cold even when it's hot

I like the size of this mug and it fits perfectly in my car cup holder. However, after two days of use, it no longer keeps drinks at the temperature I set. When I pour a cup of hot tea, it's cold after 2 hours. When I pour in an iced drink it starts to sweat on the outside and the ice melts in less than 1 hour. Now it's just a cup in my house. Return to the drawing board to find a good travel mug.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • I don't really like it, everything is fine

Works for me! Best in insulated beverage containers

Perhaps not the best travel coffee mug, but I like the large capacity (20 ounces) and love the look of this product. It keeps the coffee quite warm for about 20 minutes and then everything definitely cools down. But overall it seems to be a quality product at this price point. (It would be nice if it had more insulation and kept the coffee warm a little longer.) The lid scenario is a plus, unless you have to give your mug to the coffee waiter at the drive-thru window. Then it might be a bit…

I love my Bubba, but that's not Bubba's best!

I had two classic Bubba mugs and used them for years to drink water throughout the night. I get severely dehydrated at night and love being able to get water without having to go to the kitchen. They froze really well but after years of use they started to sweat profusely and my water tasted like plastic. I bought this for its size and it's ok but it just doesn't keep my water ice cold like the old boys! I have not used this mug for anything other than drinking water so I cannot confirm how…

Mostly useless for keeping drinks cold or warm.

I only bought this mug because it's bigger but fits in the cup holders on the center console between the seats in my truck. The problem is that nothing keeps it cold for long. If I pour any cold drink into this mug, even if it's filled with ice, it takes less than two hours for it to completely melt and reach room temperature. When I put coffee in this mug, it cools down about as much as putting it in a thin glass jar, not even as long as a china mug without a lid. I sent this one back, it was…

Convenient for drinking from glasses and mugs

I love my classic Bubba glass. I just don't like drinking coffee or anything else out of metal cups. For me, metal adds acid. Maybe it's in my head - I don't know. But for me it's real enough. Yes, the Bubba Classic mug doesn't keep your coffee hot for nearly as long as insulated metal mugs. However, it does not have a metallic taste. And cool or even cold coffee doesn't bother me, because it takes me all day to get a full cup anyway. Hell, I even add ice cubes in the summer. The only thing I…
