My waist is exactly 48". When I measured the belt I got exactly 50" this way. But what is the need for such measurements? When you wear the belt, that is Hole that the pin goes through, on the OUTSIDE end of the buckle When I measure this strap from the outside end of the buckle, the distance to the 5th (last) hole is 49". The two leather straps I purchased meet or exceed my expectations for big man belts. The seams and processing of the leather as well as the look of the buckle are simply excellent. Blue and white leather belts are two colors that are hard to find for tall and tall men. I am very happy with my purchases and the reasonable cost that I paid. The straps arrived on time and were properly packaged to avoid damage in transit. I thought it was good that Sportoli gave me both belts on time.

The belt runs small, so I advise you to order one or two sizes up. I have a 25-26 waist and ordered a 28. It was very tight down to the loosest hole. I went back and ordered 30 instead, hope it fits better. EDIT: I'm a size 30 which paradoxically was LESS than a 28? I couldn't even put it in the loosest hole. I love the look of the belt (and the price) so I'll take a chance and order LOTS more (36). My fingers are crossed again. I would definitely say be prepared to come back for a new size…

Pretty good quality, this is a belt. BY SIZE - I bought a size 28 because I have a 28 waist. This means the BIGGEST possible hole is a 28 and will get smaller from there. Luckily I'm exactly 28 years old so it fits really well but depending on what shirt I put in it can be a bit too tight. Buy a size or two larger than you wear.
