Everything looked very clean and the fit was great (for prototyping) however the delivery was missing the nut for one of the bezel mounting screws. Otherwise very satisfied.

later considering it fits in a 1U server rack, the unit itself could be bigger, maybe not a full 1.75 inch but definitely bigger than it is now . I find it a bit pricey because it's just two stacked pieces of aluminum. Good for prototypes but not for mass production.

High quality aluminum housing! Exactly what I was looking for. If you need a cover, it is not included, but you can buy it separately. Search the part number "c-14441" to find the correct cap should you need one. The edges may need some time filing, they are quite sharp, but the case itself is really solid for the price.

With the top, CH-14441 makes a very "together" rackmount project for line level audio or other "signal" electronics. it would be better if the front panel was covered with a clear varnish so that stains on it are less visible. And given the basic design, it could be cheaper. However, compared to other similar items that are available in small quantities, this is a winner.
