Nice metal box for projects.

I have used this for easy access to the garage oven control box Works well and due to the configuration I was able to screw it on, remove the cap and get in with no problems!Love the way it is built and also that it's light, but it has the power I need!

Basic Aluminum Box - Electrical

Aluminum base box. Comes unfinished and was easy to paint. I ended up making a relay box out of this for my jeep and it works great. Comes with two screws to fix the top and bottom together. I sealed the seams with small strips of silicone to make it more waterproof but drilled a few holes in the bottom to ensure it has a drain if water gets in.

Exactly as described and exactly what I needed.

Not much to say here. The aluminum box is exactly as described. The size was approaching, the halves fit together perfectly. It's probably best to consider this item weatherproof, but not weatherproof or dustproof. It's certainly not waterproof, nor was it designed to be. It is very well drilled for attachment. This item is not steel case and will not be as strong. I was more interested in heat dissipation, corrosion resistant metal, and cost, so an aluminum case seemed like the right choice…
