I love this stuff in Bulbs

I love this stuff. Easy to use and works great as far as I can tell. I've never had a lamp step since I've been using it. I hope this works for you too. I buy several containers to store in the garage and various places where I add lightbulbs.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Great price

Works perfectly. Best in Incandescent Bulbs

I purchased this product when I was buying smart bulbs for the home to use with all new bulbs before installing them. Since the bulbs last so long, I wanted to use a lube on the base of the bulbs to make them easier to remove when the time came. Easy to use and apply.

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • Clarity

Works great!: Bulbs

Works so well I've ordered a second one although I think it will last. Odorless, soft and easy to apply. I have a lamp where it was very difficult to change the bulbs. Each bulb was difficult to pull out; this stuff solved the problem. Don't worry about damaging the light anymore.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Expandable

Good conductive lube for threaded bulbs etc.

Nice compact container of a mild, waxy conductive lube that I use on light bulb sockets that fit old sockets or outboard sockets. Simply rub the solid lubricant with your finger and apply a thin layer to the lamp thread. Allows bulbs to be easily inserted and removed as needed and does not disrupt the flow of electricity. This little container makes a big difference.

Pros
  • Plain design
Cons
  • Bad impression

Big disappointment

This product was a big disappointment. I read review after review praising this stuff and thought it was cool to work well. Not at all. I was given 0.5 ounces of a solid waxy substance that had to be scraped off with a fingernail to get it onto the base of the lamp. Then, what's worse, it didn't matter! The bulbs still stuck and screwed in with difficulty, as if still drying the metal down to the metal thread. Absolute waste of time and money. Why so many good reviews? I want my money back.

PERFECTION! - Lightbulbs

My new house has lots of light in the high ceilings. We're in Puget Sound - lots of cloudy days so I have my lights on quite often. It's almost impossible to open! And a bit scary up the high stairs trying to get those lightbulbs out to swap out. This material solved that problem. When I change lightbulbs, I apply it quite liberally. I actually rub it with the base of the bulb - it can smear a little. Then take my finger and spread it. It makes a big difference! Screwing and unscrewing lamps…
