The first screw was cut in half with some socket wrench strength. The head of the first metal Phillips screw broke off trying to tighten it. Good steps. It took my dad and I less than two hours to pack them onto my farm truck (on ice and in the cold). Complete nonsense. I haven't finished installing the first one but I'm so disappointed that I bought a quality product and terrible installation guide. Quality - not installed and already chipped. Bought these for my 2008 Ford F150 Double Cab. They fit well and this body style has the easiest installation (Type D, see the instructions and pictures). No adapters required. The rear two had to be mounted a little behind the end of the seat line, as recommended, since the cross members got in the way, but otherwise they fitted well.
