Sturdy Step for Automotive Needs

I recently upgraded my vehicle with a retractable yellow step and it has been a game-changer. Through trial and error, I found that the Buyers Products RS2Y Step was the perfect fit for my SUV. The step provides a sturdy, non-slip surface for easy access to the roof and has held up well against wear and tear. The only downside is the installation process requires some time and effort. Works great, had to tinker a little cart.

Good design and easy installation. I had to make a crossbar under the steps when they were retracted because the truck didn't have a pocket to install. Overall a good product. I wish it protruded a little past the back of the truck so it would be easier to see it going down. Though maybe it's just the truck it's mounted on. Aerial platform International 4300 with spray boom. However, it works fine.

Well built but requires modification

The folding ladder provided by the customer appears to be well built and is easy to get on and off. The saved position is tilted down at an angle of 45 degrees. Can't say I trust it to stay in place while cruising down the freeway at 65 with no modifications. After drilling and installing it on my Chevy Kodiak, I was disappointed with its overall design. After some modifications, in the storage position, the ladder is completely flat or parallel to the bottom of the body and folds at an angle…
