Compatible with MacBook Pro 2018

Add this to complete the 4 Thunderbolt ports on the MacBook Pro 2018. This allows me to connect to an old printer, wireless keyboard and mouse. But more importantly, it has SD and mini SD slots for whatever memory cards I have.

Great price for quality and comfort

I've been using it for a little over a month, I'm very satisfied. It gets a little warm after a few hours (I have an AC adapter plugged in and a wired mouse). Nothing more to say. it works well and it's pretty affordable.

Great buy for the new MacBook Pro

Newer versions of the MacBook Pro don't have USB ports, and this device solves that problem. Even works with SD cards. The reason I gave 2 stars for the heat rating is that it gets hot when you plug something into it, but that's not a problem.

It detached for a while, then broke.

The hub worked for a while but then after 3 months became unreliable for no apparent reason. I could still get it to work if I moved it around (plugging and unplugging, realigning, etc.). Today it stopped working altogether. I bought it in April 2020 so it has been in use for almost 10 months. Considering the cheap price and the fact that the hub actually worked for one of the tasks I originally bought it for (formatting an SD card) I would give it 2 stars.

Does what it says on my Windows machine. Use for sdhc and always have to guess which way you insert the card (no picture to help you remember).

good product on computers and accessories

This hub is exactly what I was looking for. I can connect my SD card and additional USB drives. When purchasing a USB-C hub, carefully check that the ports on the hub meet your needs. In my case, I needed connectors for three external hard drives, which this unit provided. Can't comment on the durability aspect, but my experience with this product has been great so far.

WORKS on Samsung Galaxy Note 9

A week ago I bought one that was supposed to work on the Galaxy Note 9 but couldn't read micro SD cards. This reads all the files on the micro SD card which means that when I get pictures from the drone I can share them from the website instead of waiting until I get home to download them to my computer. The same goes for files from a DVR, security camera or anything else on a Micro SD. This device saves you a lot of time, especially for faster and faster image sharing.

Works for what I need

I bought this to be able to connect my USB devices to a new computer that only has Thunderbolt ports. It drew me in because it has both USB ports and an SD card slot for camera cards. It can be connected to both a computer and USB flash drives, and the camera card slot also works well. My only complaint (which isn't unique to this device) is that the Lightning connector easily detaches when the computer is moved and throws a "drive not properly ejected" error.

I like it! for computer accessories and peripherals

The package arrived quickly and undamaged. I bought this because of the silver gray color which is similar to the MacBook color. I got this new adapter that has two more card readers than the hub I bought before. It has a nice aluminum shell around the hub. The adapter is excellent, works as described, 3 USB 3.0 ports plus two card readers. The product has been used for a while, tested to work with SD card, USB drive and an external hard drive at the same time without any problems. And theโ€ฆ
