Connect your PC to a parallel dot-matrix printer, older laser printer or other uni-directional Centronics peripheral. Fully molded for excellent strain relief, this cable also provides excellent foil shielding to protect valuable data from EMI/RFI interference. All 25 conductors are wired for ease of compatibility. Efficient Parallel Printer for Compatibility

Those over 40 may remember that DOS can only print through parallel or serial ports. This is a parallel port cable. Surprisingly, they still make them.
