Will not fit side by side in a 4 port wall plate.

That was a big disappointment. The quality is good but what you never know until you install it is that they are too wide to sit side by side in a 4 port wall plate. They will be fine in a 2/3 port board, but if they have to sit flush with each other (like my example in the attached picture) you will be in trouble.

Came with hats! Best in Computers & Accessories

I was very impressed with the quality of this product. Even the Keystone carriage stand that comes with the jacks is made of very thick and durable plastic. In addition, each connector is individually packaged in its own pouch, with the caps covering the cut portion of the network cable wires. Additionally, each keystone connector fits neatly into an empty Cable Matters-branded patch panel. I ended up saving a lot of money compared to a standard rackmount patch panel.

They fit perfectly in my 24 port keystone 1U panel with cable.

They fit perfectly in my 24 port 1U keystone panel. Pros:* Actually fits on a 24-port 1U panel. Most connectors are too wide to get in each other's way.* Cables slide easily into place*, labeled for both T568A and T568BC. If you hold the panel at an angle up or down, it will not adhere fully and will be even more difficult to remove.

  • Compatibility

What I didn't consider before is that some Cat6 sockets can be too thick! These sockets work perfectly. as long as you don't try to cram them into a 6 port fascia where the keystone ports are very close together. I bought them specifically for this purpose and it was my fault I didn't get them. I ended up using other proprietary Cat6 connectors to get the job done and will use them elsewhere. The included perforation tray is very handy!

Ok but two minor issues with weak plastic

I just finished a project with about 200 of these. It went really well, but if you're not careful when punching the wires directly into these connectors, the connector can really bend and break when you punch the wires through the ends. So I had to redo about 5 out of 200 due to weak plastic. Also the little plastic plugs that snap into the ends barely hold in many cases, so when I put these plugs into the wall panels and into the walls, if the cables were bent a bit and pressed against the…

Not what I expected from this company.

I wanted to say that this might be the worst category 6 keystone I've ever come across. Well that was a few days ago. I can now say in all honesty that these are by far the worst grade 6 trapeze stones I have ever purchased or worked with. They also stand out for being the first and only keystone that just doesn't fit properly in a QuickTrex panel. I've actually started replacing each of them. Life is too short to waste time on things like this, but I also don't want to get angry every time I…

Easy to install. The size is too big for the keystone liner

I haven't checked the data on these ports yet, but I'm giving 3 stars on the overall score because the sizing gets it wrong. suitable for Keystone insert 6. I am setting up a small network in my home office with 5 ports in the office and 3 in the rest of the house. So I would like to fit them in a smaller space than single trapezoidal panels or even 3 in height. It's just not possible. I give 3 stars for the ease of use when installing a Cat6 cable in a hole. I've never done this before and…

Easy to install. Size too large for keystone insert

I haven't checked these ports yet but I give 3 stars all accounts because it doesn't fit in the 6 keystone insert due to the size.
