Amazing solution for 4K 60Hz!

I have a Dell 3040m (Micro) computer with an Intel i3-6100t processor. This computer has 2 video outputs - HDMI and DisplayPort. HDMI output is limited to 4K 30Hz, while DisplayPort supports 4K 60Hz (much easier on the eye). With the HDMI output, I was only able to get 4K resolution (3840 x 2160) at 30Hz instead of the 60Hz I wanted with good high-speed HDMI cables. This is the result of a limitation of the Intel 530 graphics for HDMI. I am using TESmart 4k 60hz KVM which uses HDMI cables…

Works as a full 4:4:4 RGB adapter for compatible TVs/monitors

Not sure why Revane wanted me to rate "Transparency" or "Thickness" but, um, one and the other it was OK. More importantly, it is an ACTIVE adapter that allows you to use a 4:4:4 compatible TV/monitor with a DisplayPort graphics card. Modern graphics cards usually only have one HDMI connection. If you want to connect two HDMI monitors with 4K resolution, this adapter will work. If you use a passive adapter, you won't get true 4:4:4 color, and computer text will be multicolor rather than black…

Highly recommended.

Excellent product! I use it to connect a Vega graphics card to a Samsung 1080p 120hz TV. It doesn't have HDMI 2.0 ports. This is clearly a shame as the panel has a native frequency of 120Hz. Apparently Samsung made the mistake of not using at least one HDMI 2.0, but they're not common on 1080p TVs after all. The reason I use this adapter instead of Vegas' own HDMI output is because I have a 4K monitor as the main display on another. DP output. The thing is that there are some oddities when…

DOES NOT support 4K resolution at 60Hz refresh rate!

This product does NOT support 4k resolution at 60Hz! I checked the CPU generation (4th and above). I checked the graphics card (Intell HD 4600). I checked (updated) the display drivers. I checked to see if my HDMI cable is rated "High Speed" (which it is). My LG TV was manufactured in 2019 and all three HDMI ports are verified to be HDMI 2.2 compliant. 60Hz display options are limited to 1920 x 1080. Other display options (1920 x 1200, 2560 x 1600, 3840 x 2160, and 4096 x 2160) have a maximum…

4k60 Verified by AMD 5700XT DisplayPort to 40 " Samsung QLED HDMI

I have Ultra High Speed/HD HDMI and you can either purchase a DP to HDMI 4K cable or this adapter/dongle. If you connect while your computer is on, you won't get an option for 60Hz, only 30 or less. You have to plug it in and restart or turn it off. You may need to select "List All Modes" in your graphics card settings on your PC to select a higher resolution and 60Hz/p. On my Samsung Q60R I also need to enable Adaptive Signal Plus for the selected HDMI port. , but I was able to output 4K60)…

Works well between Dell Dock D3100 and Samsung 4K TV

Samsung UN40KU6290 40" 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV along with a matching HDMI cable such as BlueRigger High Speed HDMI Cable with Ethernet. I have previously bought (and subsequently returned) a DisplayPort 1.2 to 4K HDTV cable 6ft and it didn't support 4K between the dock and TV (Microsoft Windows only allowed up to 1080p) I have provided a relevant review for this cable Cable Matters advised me to try a different adapter and this solved the problem So thanks to the Cable Matters guys for the…

Snow is so retro! for computer cable adapter

Name. I have snow at 4k 60hz. Everything works fine for a few hours, and then out of nowhere I'm transported back to the glory days of the CRT. I actually have to disconnect and reconnect the cable to restore display output. The TV is a new model from Samsung and the GPU is a "high" 2070 so the obvious reason is the adapter, not to mention it just started with the adapter and I've had the rest since November. Better than a passive DisplayPort adapter that can't use the full RGB dynamic range…

Pros
  • HDMI DP adapter locking connector provides a secure connection with a release button that must be pressed before disconnection

  • Not bad, but...

Use a Warrky DisplayPort to HDMI cable instead!

I purchased an HP Thunderbolt Dock and two monitors for a dual configuration. When I got the dock, I found that the dock only offers DisplayPort connectors for monitors that only have HDMI connectors and the cables that come with them. So I bought two Cable Matters Displayport to HDMI adapters. The adapters did not work properly. Every time I booted up my laptop, I had to unplug the HDMI cable from the adapter and then plug it back in to use the displays. I contacted Cable Matters and they said
