The port is not a USB port.

The problem with the description is that it is a USB port. I thought I could plug a male HDMI into one end and the other end would be a USB cable to connect to my computer, but the other end had a small male connector, not USB.

Note 8 Computers and accessories errors

Both cables keep pulling an error saying there is water in my charging port on my Note 8. Went to TMobile to check and they said it wasn't. Not sure if this is a known cable issue as my phone charges just fine.

Works at least right away

Let's see. I've looked through many of these for hooking up a second monitor to my 2017-18 iMac. This requires an HDMI-to-USB-C connection (Apple calls this Thunderbolt 3). Looks good quality, dare I say an order of magnitude Apple quality but MUCH LESS. Most other brands I looked at had WAY more reviews but lots of negative ones - stumbled upon this one by accident and it only had a few reviews but mostly positive ones. Great product great price.

I've seen the same thing for four times the price plus shipping plus longer delivery times. I am very satisfied with the product, the price and how quickly I received it. Now I can connect my new iMac directly to my TCL flat screen TV and it doesn't turn off every few minutes like it did when trying to connect through the Apple TV. DAAAAAAAAA!
