Really durable

Carrying around a 6 tier cake is scary enough without worrying about the board underneath. These boards are wonderful! They are durable, do not scratch when cut and look beautiful. I usually wipe them down with soapy paper towels and reuse them for my family cakes.

Supports a heavy cake, looks elegant

Excellent value for money. I bake and sell cakes, big and heavy. They carry the weight, have an elegant and professional finish. Looks very polished. My local bakery has something similar for $5 each. This is a much better price and I have extras for my next cake.

Be careful when using it. The paint comes off.

I give these pie drums 3 stars because while I like the look of these 8 inch pie drums, the pie drum itself is not of very good quality. I usually only use one cake drum (more than my cakes) then I work on my cake and clean the cake drum of any crumbs or frosting. However, I have to be extra careful when doing this because I tried to scrape the excess icing (white crumb) off the cake drum with a tissue paper and there was gold paint on my tissue paper.
