Received the keys, took them to a local locksmith and cut them out. I programmed the buttons myself following the instructions. I save about $230 from what the dealer tried to charge.

This one I bought a software remote with PIN code that lasted a week or 2 well is not working, check the frequency no. Check if the battery is ok, I will change the battery as it is already included in CVS. and dead recheck. Such cheap shit, be careful. Like a hit & miss game.

What they don't tell you is that there are 2 types of these keys, chipped and chipless. The locksmith cut the keys perfectly but when he went to code he found that these key fobs could not be coded to use the lock/unlock and alarm functions. So I have a set of new keys that cannot be used for what I need. The key fobs were great value but after I paid for them and then the locksmith to get the keys to them they are no longer a bargain.

I bought this key hoping to replace the one that came with the car, I had to take it to the dealer to have it programmed for $55 unfortunately they couldn't program it they said it would turn the car on, but after a few seconds the car would turn off again, and that key would only be good for unlocking the door.
