Boils on the weak. The best in kitchen and dining

I got this because a lot of weirdos do it, it won't cook low and turn everything to gum. I'll try slow cooking over heat and see if that works.

Amazing Slow Cooker

I started reading Consumer Reports, which I no longer trust, and then read the Revain reviews of brands and models that Consumer Reports recommended. Not surprisingly, many of the products recommended by Consumer Reports did NOT score highly in Revain. I chose the Calphalon Digital Sauté Slow Cooker because it's the only multicooker to receive excellent Revain ratings for temperature accuracy, ease of use, and appeal. looks. You won't regret buying a Calphalon multi-cooker.

Finally a slow cooker that isn't junk.

After a short time we are very satisfied with the stove. Black Bean Soup will cook within 10 minutes after finding the crate by the door. The item looks high quality. The insert is strong and looks like it will stand up to cooking and cleaning on the stovetop. The lid fits better than any of the 2321 other pots we tried. It has an excellent seal with a vapor hole. Ideal. The best part is the flexibility of management. Here you can not guess or rely on the bank. Set the time and heat level and…

Updated Version of Old Multi Cooker

When my 25 year old multi cooker broke, I was looking for a new one. There are many of these on the market and not all of them have good reviews. I ended up choosing this one because it had the highest reviews, but it definitely wasn't the cheapest. I used it on the day I received it and I was happy with the result. I made short ribs - they cooked evenly (4 hours on high power) and were tender. I had to "come to terms" with the fact that it's a lot lighter than my old one. For some reason I…

Slow cooking has changed since I last tried it

When I moved in about 5 years ago I got rid of my old multicooker pots. Earlier this year I became interested in replacing them because I discovered a great cookbook on slow cooking Indian food. I chose it among the offerings in the 5 qt size range for a number of reasons. I prefer a removable insert that can be used on the hob rather than models with multiple settings and additional electronics that could fail. This is very handy for frying food initially, although I think increasing the…

Great bean pot! for small appliances

This multi cooker is round, not oval. Does it look round in the photos? Not for me, so I figured this might be an important clue. And more importantly, in my opinion the inside diameter of the bottom of the pot is about 7 3/8 to 7 1/2 inches depending on whether you allow a slight bend in the inside wall. Do not buy this pot if you plan to cook roasts or chicken in a slow cooker. It won't work if it's really a small piece of meat. Hey, that doesn't even fit in the two leg quarters below, so…

Very pretty but expensive!

We have been cooking in a 'slow cooker' or whatever brand name that has become the standard name for multicookers. You want stuff. Either way, you can see other slow cookers that Revain recommends by checking out the Calphalon Digital Saute Slow Cooker and you can easily see that this is at the top of the slow cooker range. You can easily find good multi cookers for $35. So is the Calphalon Digital Saute Slow Cooker worth the extra money? It depends on. I would argue that unless you have…
