THIS IS A LEAK! for freshwater systems

Poorly finished product. Both clutches were leaking. Stretching doesn't help. Even extra washers won't help if it's a bad production. The 1/2 inch hose is useless. Made a lot of noise. Quality control doesn't work if the product covered by the warranty works that way. I have a 25ft 5/8" Camco hose that works great. I needed a shorter length. It was a real disaster. So very disappointed.

bought two. both were defective

Worst product I have ever received from Camco. The pin end of one hose was not crimped properly so it just fell off. Another hose was leaking and could burst under pressure in the same place. It's no fun when the frost comes and you're trying to winterize it and the plumber is on site. The stiffest new hose I've ever seen.

The stiffest, most inflexible hose I have ever bought. I rarely write reviews but this hose needs a review. I bought this in December and found it very stiff but figured the warm weather might soften it up. Didn't happen. It's late May and still too hard to use. Stays tightly coiled, doesn't even unfold. I should have returned it when I could. Double Blunt, I bought two of these! I'll find a better hose and throw away two camcos.

The hose is strong but leaks at the joint

We use it as a spare hose on a small motor home. When camping in areas with water taps, we put a "Y” on the tap and use it as a second hose for cooking and dishwashing. In areas with a central water source, we also use it to fill the camper's water tank. The female end quickly licked at the turning point. Of course, this happened after the return period had expired. Annoying, but the hose is still usable. We also use a water regulator so I know we didn't pressurize the hose. There are no…

Good inexpensive hose

Good hose. I needed something that wasn't too long to fill up my 55 and 40 gallon armored room tanks - instead of lugging around countless buckets of water. Also the fact that it is a drinking water hose means it is safe for my fish. It is flexible and can be easily rolled up for storage. What I did was attach a nozzle to it to keep the water from the wash tub from overflowing into the aquariums. You can buy an adapter for your faucet to connect the hose. If you're concerned about chlorine from
