This product was recommended during a warehouse worker review. I agree with the recommendation. Pros: Durable plastic that has survived many drops onto concrete floors - never damaged. Bite valve - never spills, lying down is a nice plus, closed hollow loop - allows attachment to many surfaces or objects with a carabiner (not included), plus the bite valve doesn't typically touch the ground if dropped. Thieves keep taking this water bottle to work, so I keep buying Camelback Eddy. Cons: nothing

I chose one of these while looking for a cheap water bottle at Walmart. It took some time to get used to how the spout worked. (You don't have to tip the bottle, but be careful how you take a bite and absorb the water.) After a year of use I gave up on this bottle. While I love the concept of the bite and snap hook, I've found that their general usefulness is limited. The bottle design has two main disadvantages: 1. Frequent cleaning required If you use Eddy daily, you can expect dirt to build up in the nozzle every 1-2 weeks. I've had this for 4-5 years now and love it. After all these years the mouthpiece has become a bit rough. No matter how much I clean it, it doesn't get clean. Np, I thought, I'll buy a new mouthpiece. Camelbak has since been upgraded to Eddy+. Because of this, there are nowhere else to find replacement parts for my otherwise great Eddie. A disgusting design flaw I have many large camel bladders that I use for field work and I only accept a measure of that Roughness as they can never fully dry but I also use these water bottles every day and they are impossible to clean.
