Works in grill presses and irons

I don't really have any criticism. That's a good size. He's fat enough. You don't have to worry about seasoning. Just throw it on the bacon. It heats up, but the handle remains touchable (wooden part). I want some more because I always make a pan full of bacon, but I'm not sure if it's worth it. I'm just moving this into different parts that can be clicked on. It works.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Negative impression

Not as pictured in Outdoor Cooking Tools & Accessories

The press I received has a flat bottom with a square pattern, no grooves like the picture here. I can't use this because it's too big for my cast iron skillet. This is my fault so this is not a reason for a 3 star rating. I'll either go back or find a bigger pan. It seems to be of good quality, it's just strange that it's not what is in the picture.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Minor issues

I love it! Looking for the right weight.

I love it! Was looking for a weight to fry steaks on a griddle pan on the stove. Much less mess to clean up than the electric grill I have. Give them a really good grill in a short amount of time. You can cook 2 steaks at the same time. I also love it for the bacon, which helps achieve a crispy crust and prevent curling while making sure the fatty part is cooked through.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

I give this product five stars even though it doesn't suit me.

It's totally my fault I didn't measure my frying pan. However, I give this product five stars because when I received it I could say that it is exactly what I expected and it will work well. I gifted it to my girlfriend (she has a bigger pan) and she loves it. I looked at a few before buying and this one suits (I thought) my needs. I liked it so much that I might just have to buy a bigger pan and buy another! ;-)

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Tape

This thing is great for outdoor grilling and cooking

This press is everything you want in a bacon press. It's big enough to cover the bacon bits and heavy enough to be useful. It's made of cast iron, so it distributes the heat perfectly and the wooden handle doesn't get hot. The press works well with bacon and burgers. It also keeps grease from splattering out of the skillet or pan, and the rim works great. The only downside is that when you're making sloppy (falling apart) burgers, the weight of those abs can cause them to fall apart a bit more.

Pros
  • There it is
Cons
  • Neutral

Nearly perfect! good for outdoor grilling and cooking

I bought this to use with a Lodge Logic Pro 20 10-7/16" Cast Iron Grill and it turned out to be a near perfect companion It's a lot bigger than the Lodge Logic press but not too big to fit on the grid either way which is good This is enough to cover 2 hamburger patties or 4 short strips of bacon It's like advertised preseasoned unfortunately the one i bought was slightly bent or warped not enough to cook the meat but it makes reheating in the pan difficult also meat tends to stick to the press…

Pros
  • Like everything before
Cons
  • The Secret

I compared 6 of the best grill presses on Revain.com; this one ranks #4

I have purchased 6 of the best grill presses from Revain.com and have used them in my kitchen for months in a thorough comparison. This one comes in fourth - only buy this if you have a reason to need grill marks on the press itself (not worth it to me). The products I compared were: #1 Best: Kingsford KCA11 Grill Press, Kingsford KCA11 Rectangular Grill Press - This grill press is the ideal weight for holding, but not mashing, fried sandwiches, sausages, hamburgers, and bacon. The handle is…

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Reliability
