Description of πŸ”§ Enhanced LS Engine Valve Spring Compressor by COMP Cams 5462

Works with all GM LS-Type engines. Removes 1 or 2 valve springs at a time without removing the rocker stand or any of the other installed rockers. Works both with the cylinder heads installed on or off. Fits in tight spaces.

Fit dual shocks

Quick and easy to use Leah shouldn't have if you want to change valve springs without removing the head. Don't forget the compression hose.

Works great but too expensive.

Works well, nice to do two springs at the same time on the LS6. Sometimes it's difficult to achieve perfect alignment, but it's easy to adjust. Only criticism is that it's overpriced.

Good tool, good profit for you.

A very good tool that simplifies the installation. If necessary, you can replace the valve springs in the truck. Only 4/5 because. really computers. $100 for this thing? What's your gain from that evil chicken, damn it. Good tool but too expensive.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation

Worked great on a CTS-V with an LSA engine with dual valve springs.

I bought this to replace valve springs on a CTS-V and it worked great! I had to flip the plate over to make room for the dual springs I installed. There is also a small gap on the back. A few tips: Use the correct size bolts for your application (supplied in two sets), USE the lubricant provided! This is of great importance. Tighten the screws. If you do these things it will work very well and save the cost of the tool by saving time.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Slightly torn

This tool is excellent. Made the job so easy. Highly recommended.

This quality tool makes life a lot easier. The compressor is really strong with good American quality. Don't waste your money on these Chinese versions. You'll cause more heartache than a few extra savings are worth. It will be a tool for life if you take care of it. This tool pushes out both bearing assemblies and holds the rocker arm while pressing in new bronze or needle bearings. The magnet works great too. I really appreciate this tool. Great job comp cams

Not suitable for high springs properly.

I was so excited to finally get my hands on a quality valve spring tool but was completely disappointed when I removed and installed the larger valve springs - PAC1218. Works great for removing or installing stock springs, but as others have noted it doesn't have enough opening for a larger spring to fit under the cap. You need to loosen the bolts that attach the tool to the heads to get enough height, place the spring and tighten evenly towards the head, and then compress the spring from…
