Description of Cap Gas Vent Double Wall

Size: 5". For use as a ventilation cap as well as type B vent termination. Protects against waste gases spilling back into the structure through the appliances draft hood. The AmeriVent cap is UL-listed, and its patented design of ports and baffles keep rain and debris out of the vent.

Great Addition to Home Improvement Tools

we recently purchased a double wall cap gas vent for our home improvement project, and we were thoroughly impressed. Based on our own experience this product proved to be durable and effective. The double wall feature ensures that heat stays within the vent and not released outside, which is great for saving energy... The installation process was easy and straightforward. However, the only downside is that it MAY require some maintenance in the future. Overall, we highly recommend this product…

It will be destroyed in transit.

The product itself is not bad. But shipped in a plastic bag. They ship a thin piece of metal that's more fragile than an empty Coke can. in a bag. Well of course the FedEx guys get bored and play football with it during delivery so it comes to your house just like mine. Just make sure your new part looks like it's in a Hulk fight and you're done!
