Almost, but not perfect.

So first of all I want to say it and feel great! They would definitely have gotten five stars if the rear elastic on my right boot hadn't ripped. After two days! I'm not a serious dancer. I wrote to them maybe an hour a day. But I only have them for two more days! Yes, and design, comfort and practicality to boot. The mesh keeps my feet from sweating in them, so it's nice. As long as they don't break. The other side shows signs of doing the same.

Pros
  • Easy Installation
Cons
  • A little wrinkled

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Dance Shoes - Brazilian Zouk

We have been using this dance shoe to dance Brazilian Zouk for over 2 years and I really like it. The breathability of the sole allows for free movement of the foot and enough support under the ball of your foot and heel if you don't already have those calluses (or you didn't stop the podiatrist in time, oops). On a public dance floor they usually need to be replaced about every two months because of the dirt on the floor soiling the soles, but in quarantine on my floors, which I clean…

Buy a size and a half larger

I took the advice of another reviewer and bought a size and a half larger, not one more. They fit perfectly but the finger feels cramped. However, once you start dancing you won't notice any discomfort in your toes and I know they will stretch. I took the black one so there is less dirt. The big advantage of these shoes compared to ballet flats is that they fit perfectly without having to pull the string to adjust them. They don't have finger holes on the sides. However, they are much more…

. I saw another dancer wearing them because they are so pretty and light

I was looking for these shoes after seeing another dancer wearing them because they are so pretty and light were. I didn't read the reviews carefully before buying and just bought my street size. When they arrived I couldn't even stand them up, they were so small. So I sent them back, read the reviews and bought a size and a half bigger. Still too small. I think it would have been made one size larger, but by then I was tired of going back and forth so I just popped into the store and paid for…

My Favorite Dance Shoes

This is probably the 4th or 5th pair of these shoes that I own. I dance in them every day until they are completely worn out. The first pair I bought, I followed all the advice and ordered a full size up from my usual size. But it quickly stretched too much and didn't give my feet the support they needed when cornering because the last was moving under the balls of my feet. These shoes are designed for lightness. I think they are the closest thing to dancing barefoot while still protecting your

Pros
  • Excellent Overall
Cons
  • Some Difficulty

later on the advice of other reviewers, I figured it out a bit. (My foot width is 8 1/2, so I usually take 9 1/2 shoes that aren't wide. I ordered 9 1/2 in these slippers.) The forefoot is tight but comfortable, but the heel keeps slipping. I can pull the elastic down a bit to see if it helps stay in place. I was looking for a zumba shoe that didn't stick to the floor like all my sneakers which actually made me fall (I also have a bit of a coordination issue) - these shoes managed to spin and…

Falling apart after 2 uses

I would give this 1 star for durability. However, I gave them an extra star as my dancer liked them and said they were very comfortable - for the entire two hours she wore them. They only lasted their two (2) 55 minute dance lessons. When she put them on on the third day, a shoe broke. A huge piece of leather (leather?) ripped right off the sock. The other shoe was also badly worn after only two hours of dancing. I've never seen dance shoes wear out so badly. However as my daughter loved…
