Description of Carbon Spring Finish Nominal Diameter Hardware

Installed by two easy operations, just drill and drive. Carbon steel is stronger than 18-8 stainless steel and just as strong as Type 420 stainless steel. Superior to and used in place of drive pins, taper pins, and collar pins. Flexibility allows a wider tolerance than other pin types. Beveled ends make starting easy.

Terrible Fasteners: Don't Waste Your Money

According to my experience, these screws are useless. They strip easily and are difficult to screw in. The only positive THING i can say is that the packaging is nice..

Pros
  • good packaging.
Cons
  • easily strips, hard to screw in.

Disappointing Quality for Home Improvement Project

These nails were a nightmare to work with during a recent renovation project .The nominal diameter was inconsistent making it hard to secure boards firmly. While the carbon spring finish looked good initially, it wore away quickly. The only positive was the price, but ultimately the frustration of using these nails outweighed any cost-savings. Stick to higher quality brands for your next DIY project..

Pros
  • Durable and long lasting
Cons
  • May require specific tools to install correctly

Very springy, very carbon. (deep breath) .

Very springy, very fizzy. I would buy them again in a heartbeat - they are 2000 (not lying) times cheaper than buying them once from your local Hdwe. the shops.

Pros
  • Assembled in two easy steps, just drill and hammer in
Cons
  • Defects present
