Carburetor Yamaha Raptor Yfm350 2007 2013 Review

You can't beat the price of this carburetor. bought a used quad and it wouldn't idle, backfired unless the throttle was partially engaged. I bought and installed this carburetor. the nozzle does not change and the quad runs perfectly.

I'm not 100% sure but I think it works poorly. plump. Idle is good, 1/4 - 1/2 throttle is good. 3/4 - full throttle - it spits, squirts porridge. It comes with a base 130, I HOPE changing it to 140-145 will fix the problem. I will report another time.

Excellent value for money, easy to reconfigure for your application. Also secure the vacuum line connector cover. It detached and fell off on the first day of skiing. The design of the throttle piston is slightly different from the original carburettor, but it works.

When I received this product the filter was broken and cracked and when I went ahead and installed it leaked fuel everywhere. After I installed the carb the quad never worked well, it idles fine but as soon as I try to hit the gas it starts to rattle in the midrange.

Installed thought it was plug and play but unfortunately after half throttle it ran horribly. So I used o-rings, a needle and other internal plastics to rebuild my original carburetor. (My original injectors were cleaned and reused. Works great now. This carb comes with #130 main jet. OEM. Comes with #142.

This was a great replacement for the old carburetor on my Raptor. Be sure to check the jets first, I had to change my jets. My friend bought the same carburetor and used parts from this replacement to rebuild his original block. For less than the cost of a rebuild kit, you can get a complete carburetor that includes parts that are no longer for sale. Overall, it costs money to completely replace or rebuild your old carburetor.
