While not really a scam I find them a bit big so I cut them in half. I would probably prefer if they were either even bigger so half would be a little better, or a little smaller but there would be more in the pack. It's freaking cool! I still use paper towels when I need to soak up food grease. But I use these rags for everything else I normally use to clean. The packaging states that the fabric and packaging itself is compostable. This is a German product so rest assured it is not made in China. I like to use them around the sink and put them in places where there is a lot of water droplets, like under a faucet handle.
