Only buy with a discount!: Bedding and filling

I love these bedding. if it doesn't cost $19 for 60L If it goes on sale for $9. - $14 for 60 liters then you have to buy it. Also, Revain has the same material twice on their website and they are not the same price. So check both CareFresh 60L bedding products for the best price.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Gave our house a severe allergic reaction during the two days in the cage. Replaced with other bedding, threw away what was left and now I'm working with the seller hoping for a refund. I was excited to try Carefresh based on the great reviews, but looks like I'll be sticking with Kaytee for now.

Pros
  • Hard wearing finish
Cons
  • Working speed

Not as soft as others but lasts a heck of a lot

I was initially disappointed when I received these sheets as they were nowhere near as soft as the other sheets I receive. But after using it, I noticed that it was absorbed incredibly well. My hamster has been assigned a place to burrow and a place to fall off. I would only need to replace the waste area, about once a week, and all the linens, about every 2 weeks. I don't know if my hamster has an opinion on this difference. She doesn't like it when her cage is changed often, so she probably…

worst bedding!

I usually get updates but I have good stuff in subscription. It was time to change my bunny's bedding and the subscription took another 5 days to arrive so I got something that could be delivered the next day. I figured getting fresh linens would be a safe bet, although I knew they probably wouldn't be as good as normal. That sucks! When I opened the bag it smelled like vinegar but I had no choice but to use it. It didn't peel or peel off at all. What normally covers the whole cell is only half

When they say the smell will go away, they mean it!

I bought these sheets two months ago and they increased the price by $4 so I wanted to deduct a star. Otherwise I would give 5 stars for quality and price! Still, I gave it 5 stars because of the quality. It says it stops odors for 10 days and I went up to 7 with no odors! I used to use a plain fleece bed and tray that he used from time to time, but recently I've switched to making half his cage bed and half a fleece liner. The fleece lining didn't cut off and didn't help get rid of the smell…

Quality has dropped significantly

We have been buying Carefresh pet litter for about 11 years. We have always been pleased with the cleanliness, low dust levels and absorbency of the product. This particular brand of litter was perfect for our two rabbits. On average, since 2009 we've been buying about two 60 liter bags a month. From around March 2020 we noticed a significant drop in the quality of Carefresh's paper bed linen. The bedding is noticeably dustier, smellier and full of sand and small stones (see attached photos)…

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

We have three male guinea pigs. They pee and poop and the worst thing is piss! We tried chips. Pooh. We currently use fleece bedding which needs to be changed and washed every 4 days otherwise the ammonia smell gets horrible. We have neighbors who look after them for 7 days while we're away and I thought there's no way the piglets can live that long in odor and dirt, and there's no way I'm going to ask the neighbors to do a full cage clean . After reading many reviews, I decided to try…

Comparison of 5 bedding options for guinea pigs

Here is a comparison of 5 types of bedding I have tried for my guinea pig. Carefresh is my top choice for odor control, moisture absorption and ease of cleaning. Touch his feet and soak the urine from them. The pads felt very wet and leaked a bit because the guinea pig was urinating so much. I suppose I could have put a few towels over it to help with absorption, but by this point I was tired of removing the hay from the washing machine and the pet hair from my clothes. The guinea pig also…
