👞 Carlisle 4042414 Commercial Boot 'N Shoe Brush Scraper: Blue, with Chrome Plated Steel Frame Review

I play tennis and my tennis shoes get soiled every day with clay that gets stuck in them. I have this on the floor mat behind my side door. I didn't have to nail or screw it to anything. I'm 8ft tall and removing the clay works well so I can get in and take off my shoes without leaving the clay all over the place. I've had it for about a month now and haven't had any rust or weather issues so far.

Superior design compared to more traditional shoe scrapers/brushes I've had. Conventional brushes clog with dirt (I live in southern Oregon with typical clay soil for the area) and don't remove dirt as easily as the Carlisle. The Carlisle makes it a lot easier to get dirt off the sides and back of my boots. In addition, the bar under the brushes is great for removing dirt stuck to the heel.

As for the idea - fabulous. Does the job completely. My problem is that at 5ft 2in I get, um, bang for your buck. If it was just a small amount of dirt it would be so bad but I use it to scrape off my dirty boots after working in the chicken coop so it's a lot more. as dirt. My husband was shocked that I paid for it but he uses it and agrees it works great. It's durable and still seems like a pretty decent product cleaning the crevices of our hiking boots, my wellies and boots, his work boots, etc. I would love for my husband to screw it to a sturdy board so I don't have to hold it with one foot while I wash the other. I work outdoors and have used a lot of different shoe brushes. At some locations we are required to come and/or leave with sanitized boots which means all dirt must first be cleaned and then rinsed and sprayed with alcohol. With a boot scraper on the inside and curved brushes on the outside, this design removes more dirt and grime than any other boot brush I've used, and it's easy to switch from scraper to brush with just one movement of the boot. The way the brushes are raised makes it easy to
