I really needed this fence to contain my injured dog. One of the panels is unusable because of a broken weld and I needed the full 12 feet. There's also rust so I have to wonder how long it will last outside if it rusts in the box. To send it back I have to send it to UPS. This fence is too heavy for me to carry. All in all a terrible experience. Carlson needs to get serious about his quality control and stop selling useless junk.

Exactly as described. I love its flexibility. No, it's not designed to stand alone if your large dog jumps on it and knocks it over. But if you have it in an octagonal shape it won't tip over on its own, or like I attached it to the walls of the garage to separate the dogs when company is over, but I can take it off and use the yard , in the house. . The perfect solution when you want to keep pets and people/spaces/objects separate and still feel connected. Have already ordered another of these

When I first took the gate out of the box I was impressed. It made a very robust and well-made impression. During installation, the impression changed very quickly. The swinging door worked fine, but as soon as I opened the doorknob at the top, it wouldn't stay locked. As I proceeded to install the gate, the top and bottom hinges of the same panel broke. We just finished installing the gate and so far we are satisfied. One of our dogs jumped over an ordinary plastic baby hutch and almost got hit by a car. Right out of the box this gate system was poorly made. However, it cannot be said that the entire gate system was badly done. In fact, the goal system is really good. The problem, however, is that the hinge on which the gate pivots has virtually no weld. The hinge is simply a small metal bar welded to either side of the gate.
