    Cannot be assembled without a punching tool

    Bought this box because it was heavier than the others. The design of the box is great but apparently the description has changed from when I put it on the buy list (a few months ago while we were waiting for our camper van to be delivered) to when I received it , changed. The box has embossed insignia by default but these are misleading as they cannot be embossed. Finally, I used a Dremel tool and cut-off wheels to make the hole since I didn't want to buy a $100 impact hammer. Generally an…

    Not easy to install

    Just a comment on my experience with this product based on other reviews. You have to punch your own holes. Makes sense if it's meant for outside mounting, right?* Mounting through the top hole - as suggested - doesn't change my first comment. Just make sure the setup is waterproof when using the setup this way. * The jack itself isn't exactly great for "rolling" the connection, especially when using 6 AWG stranded copper. There's no friendly way to really tighten the connection - the screws in

    Very tight box for 6 gauge wiring.

    The box itself is very sturdy and looks nice but that's all I got for it.1. The box is very tight when working with 6 gauge wire.2. The screws for attaching the wires to the back of the connector go through the center of the cable entry connector meaning you will need to separate the wires to fit.3. The wires never get fixed and I ended up stripping the screw heads when trying to tighten the wires4. There are no knockouts. They look like knockouts, but they're not. You will need a hammer drill…
