The best skin balm.

I have used many different leathers in my harness over the years. That's what I like best. It maintains the elasticity of the skin. Make sure you are buying from someone in the US as I first ordered this from a UK seller and it never arrived.

  • good stuff
Cons
  • some bad stuff

Works great good for horses

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this leather conditioner! It smells amazing and works great! No residue is left behind and leather products stay nice and soft. I use it on my tack, saddles, horseback riding and even put it on my hands as a lotion. You will not be disappointed!

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons

Wow brings back dry and dirty skin

Just tried on a dusty leather wallet yesterday. Just wipe it off, wait ten minutes and buff off. So easy and quick. My purse looked new, not greasy or sticky. Next I make my shoes. Considering what I paid for my leather goods this is excellent protection.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Makes your leather pot holder very soft!

Wow. Two people sitting on our farm offered to buy a leather balm for my gear and yesterday I tried this brand. It definitely softens the leather on my saddle, bridle and field boots! It's a petroleum jelly consistency I'm not used to, but it definitely transforms the skin right away. I used a small sponge instead of the one that came with it and I'm sure it's fine. A good product! I wish I had known that many years ago.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

Put simply. works

My saddles have not been air conditioned for over 2 years. With the first layer of this I could see an immediate difference. After 2 coats they looked completely alive again. (They were air conditioned but still fairly dry.) Yes, there is a perfume smell I can see that might sway someone, but I didn't care. And a little bit makes a big difference in a product, so it's always nice. I read the reviews and decided to use this and couldn't be happier. I definitely recommend it.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Some problems

*Very* floral scent

I read a lot of reviews before buying it and I got the impression people were divided about the scent. Same goes for Effax Leather Balm and I like the smell of beeswax and lanolin so I thought I might like the smell of Belvoir too. Not so! It's richly floral, like a strange perfume, and I've been trying for a long time to figure out if the flower it reminds me of is ilak or lily of the valley. I let my mom smell it and she thought it was lily of the valley. Mind you, I love the scent of *real*…
