I do not recommend this. They are too thin to apply or remove wax. If you try to apply even a small thin layer of wax, it will soak into the foam of the buffer pad. When trying to remove the wax, it leaves gaps everywhere.

We polish large areas of GRP on vans and do it quite often. We've tried many brands and Carrand's hoods and cloths consistently get the best reviews from our experts. The price is right, making them some of the best we've tried.

I used these on a 10" orbital pad I bought at a flea market and it worked great for applying liquid Meguiar wax. They may seem like inappropriate pads as people tend to use waxes with a foam pad. I tried these pads on an old car I had and it didn't seem to leave any scratches. So I chose them at Focus 2014 and the results were great! Some of the photos show wax on one door and none on the other, and the end result is highly polished.

These fit my 10" Buffer perfectly. They may not be top quality as they are a little flimsy but I had no trouble getting them. each other. They fit good, snug fitting but with plenty of overlap at the edges so they can be wrapped around.They're cheap enough that I don't have to try to clean and reuse them.I usually use 2 on a big car for waxing or buffing (I change halfway when I feel it starting to clog) then remove by hand with a microfiber cloth, have been using for years.

Reading the reviews I didn't quite understand how thick the terry cloth is. Now I have them in my hands and I can say with confidence that these hats are pretty darn thin. Definitely thinner than the old ones I bought as a replacement (I think they were Sears). And although the word "cotton" is in Revain's product description, I don't see the word anywhere on the packaging itself.
