The backlit display was so dim even the clock light couldn't see it. It is also almost invisible during the day. It looks like it is not original. Also, the instruction manual and packaging were written in Japanese, and there was no English manual.

I still have two G-Shocks and I like them but I liked this one in blue and I thought it would be blue when the light was on but it turned out to be very dark and not illuminating the entire surface of the clock, I was disappointed to say the least! I didn't like it, didn't look like the picture. That rather bright blue color doesn't exist, it's just the lighting of the image. It's a dull blue color, hands get in the way of the digital part so you can't read it. They were more difficult to program than most clocks. if i could get zero stars i would. They couldn't read the character very well. And I think this is the one that was super easy. Didn't feel very good together. Bought for my husband and we sent it back straight away. Do not buy,
