Casio Men's G-Shock Quartz Resin Sport Watch: The Perfect Timepiece for Active Lifestyles Review

This is a fake G Shock/Casio watch. All G Shocks watches come with a metal case. I have 6 G Shocks and they are real. You only notice that when you open it. There is Chinese writing on the box which is not present on any of the original boxes. Even the instructions are simply copied and reprinted from a watch of a different model.

THIS IS NOT A GENUINE G-SHOCK WATCH. IT COMES IN A BLACK AND RED BOX WITH CHINESE WRITING UNDER AND A VERY REGULAR RUBBER FEEL. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A SIMPLE CHEAP MIXED WATCH IT'S OK I THINK BUT I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS AS A WORKING TIME. Mine broke after 2 months and I'm doing a general build. DO NOT BUY HORRIBLE QUALITY

Overall this is a very reliable watch. It is very easy to use and aesthetically pleasing. The only complaint I had was that the standard strap is too short for a large wrist. To fix this I removed the strap and replaced it with my old nylon strap holders from an old G-Shock. They fit perfectly. So far so good, I have no other complaints and this watch holds up to heavy use at my job. Highly recommended budget G-Shock.

This is the second watch of this model that I have owned. The plastic case and strap of the first had completely dried out and disintegrated after 20 years of daily use/neglect in all weather and conditions. I've had several of these in the past. Because of my work with diesel fuel and chemicals, the belts usually come loose more than anything else. I have several different versions of this watch and they seem to work fine. For their budget the only decent 200m water resistant watch that seems to stand up to windsurfing, diving and general rough conditions. I hope to live off this watch longer than others. This watch seems to last a long time. I really like mineral glass because it's much stronger than acrylic and looks better, especially because it doesn't scratch as easily. My last watch (Timex Ironman Triathlon) had acrylic glass and had all sorts of scratches after only two months. I work in a warehouse and need something that will stand up to everyday handling.
