I have the medium size. The shirt was a little loose, but that was fine with me. It was a bit big but I tied the elastic that goes under the chin and narrowed it down a bit to hold it up. My pup doesn't like having nothing on his head so it's a struggle to get a good photo. So downsizing the chewing gum has done me good. She was harder to knock down. Overall it turned out really well for my pup's Halloween costume.

This mix worked well for my 70 lb lab mix, but it was a bit long for him. (We could pin it in place or cut a hole for his tail, but we'll just let it dangle behind his back. Cut nicely for a dog head costume, and I'm sure it's more comfortable. I'd suggest maybe the hat with it stuffing tissue paper or something - anything else because ours wanted to bend inwards and make the "prisoner" difficult to read. I bought this for my Cocker Spaniel (Bandit) and my brother's dog for Halloween. They are well made and so cute! We took the boys to a farmer's market and there a female police officer held them by the leashes as if the boys were their little captives for a photo shoot. Too sweet. I like the material, it's stretchy and thin. It looked really cute and my dog felt comfortable walking around my neighborhood on Halloween. However, the chest area is slightly tight. I got a large one for my 60 lb greyhound mix and the neck/chest part was tight and I had to move it around a lot so as not to be too restrictive. I ordered the Prison Pooch suit for my pup in size Medium but what I received despite the tag saying Medium was definitely small. I measured my pup and made sure I ordered the correct size and according to the size chart the average should be 16 inches long and 22 inches chest.
