Classic Flannel Sleepwear by Casual Trends Review

Very comfortable men's flannel pajamas, fits well and I love the colors of this pajama set, the flannel fabric is lightweight yet warm, cozy and comfortable. I also bought matching flannel pants and a robe. These men's pajamas are high quality at a great price! Would definitely buy more of these before some of the colors run out...

We bought these for my wife's brother who is 50 years old but is mentally challenged and usually wears small male torsos but his arms and legs shorter than this size is common. These pajamas fit very well but are slightly longer in the arms and legs. It's difficult to find identical flannel tops and bottoms in stores these days. It was exactly what we were looking for and we can buy a second pair!

When I first wore them to bed I loved the feel and fit. It was the right thickness for me and fit perfectly as I'm a tall man. However, after the first wash I noticed a change…. seems to have lost some weight. Wife said she washed it in cold water with safe detergent. The second pair didn't shrink in the wash.

My father tested this and several other brands in nursing homes. These are winners because they have a button at the top that can be buttoned all the way down to keep the elderly from freezing. They also did a very good job with the nursing, that's saying something! Previously sold as "Robes King" - I think it's the same - so happy to find it under the new name!

Well it's a soft, lightweight cotton flannel. And flashy red and black checks are fun. But the top needs another button at the waist to give it a preppy look. The lining on the top only sheds about a third, making the lining brittle and requiring ironing to ensure it lays flat after washing. Also, the buttonhole on the pants is barely big enough to put a button through. And be prepared for some shrinkage in sleeve length and pant length.

These would be great pajamas if it weren't for the fact that their construction defies all logic. If you look at the first picture you will see that there is a separate piece sewn on the back/back and not the usual way of making a pant where two pieces are sewn together along the center line of the crotch. This "patch" creates seams that line up with the top of the back thigh (see second image for a look at the seam). These seams chafe on the thigh and are very uncomfortable and annoying. For…
