This product worked well for a short time period (I used it for my cat 2weeks after surgery), but after a wash, it's coming apart at the seams at every arm hole. However, it appeared to be comfortable and she walked funny at first, but she got used to it unlike the cone. I would leave it on overnight and during the day when I was away but take it off to brush her and so she could groom herself while I kept an eye on her. I got my wee beastie a size medium because she's 5.5 lbs and measures 10" from neck to base of tail. According to the medium it's for up to 11" in length and 7 lbs. My cat's long and lean at 5 months old. The purple suit fit the best in the length. The blue suit was a little too short. Both of these work due to the drawstring at the neck but thank goodness I won't need them for more than 10 days to recover from spaying. This is intended for stomach wounds and seems like it would work really well for that. I was hoping to use it instead of a traditional cone for my cat's neck wound because it looked like it had a high turtleneck. Even with the adjustable drawstring on the neck he was able to push it down and get to his neck wound. It fit him really well and he was able to use the litter box with no problems. My cat figured out how to wiggle out of it in two hours. I added an elastic loop through the neck hole since that’s where he got out, but he still got out again.

My cat had surgery and couldn’t eat in the cone.We got this for her. I did not leave it on over night and use only when she was in room and we could supervise. But, I think it was a welcomed relief to her and she was able to eat.
